How to Make a Wrist Corsage With Real Flowers
You want to make a major statement on prom night, so you're not about to accessorize that ~fabulous~ dress with a basic af rose. Craft your own totally unique corsage (and a boutonniere for your date!) with these super easy hacks.
I promise your DIY wrist party will be the star of your outfit.
Girly Corsage
Supplies:
- 2-3 roses
- Plain, wide cuff or bracelet
- Lace ribbon
- Colored and sparkly ribbon
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
- Green floral tape

How To:
Step 1: Group flowers together and trim stems to 2 inches long.
Step 2: Secure flowers together with green floral tape.
Step 3: Thread ribbon through flowers and secure to corsage with green floral tape.
Step 4: Tie lace ribbon around stems and into a bow, leaving some slack at the ends.
Step 5: Glue corsage to bracelet.
Step 6: Tie remaining ends of lace ribbon around the cuff to hold in place.
Classic Flower Boutonniere
Supplies:
- 2-3 flowers
- Ribbon
- Scissors
- Pin
- Green floral tape

How to:
Step 1: Cut flower stems to 2 inches long.
Step 2: Bunch flowers in any design you want and secure together with green floral tape.
Step 3: Tie ribbon in a bow around stems.
Glam Corsage
Supplies:
- Wide cuff
- Jeweled elastic bracelet
- Brooches and sparkly embellishments
- Jeweled branch
- Hot glue gun
- Green floral tape

Step 1: Slide jeweled elastic bracelet around cuff and glue in place.
Step 2: Use a hot glue gun to secure jeweled branches to front of cuff.
Step 3: Glue jeweled brooches and sparkly embellishments to front of cuff.
Football Boutonniere
Supplies:
- Soft football
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
- Green floral tape
- Pin

How to:
Step 1: Cut top of football and remove stuffing.
Step 2: Cut and tightly roll fabric pieces to make a rose petal design.
Step 3: Secure with glue.
Step 4: Cut two outer petals and glue to sides of football boutonniere.
Step 5: Secure pin to back of boutonniere with green floral tape. Tie a ribbon around bottom.
Boho Corsage
Supplies:
- Wide leather bracelet
- Mix of flowers
- Scissors
- Feathers
- Green wire
- Wire cutter
- Scissors

How to:
Step 1: Arrange a mix of flowers together.

Step 3: Add leaves and feathers as desired.

Comic Book Boutonniere
Supplies:
- Comic book
- Pins
- Feather
- Sharpie
- Cardboard or heavy stock paper (for stencil)
- Scissors
- Crystal-embellished wire

How to:
Step 1: Make a petal pattern with cardboard or heavy stock paper. Cut out the stencil.
Step 2: Trace petal stencil on comic book and cut out.
Step 3: Make a smaller center flower pattern and trace and cut. Stack the paper flowers with the larger one on bottom, bending the ends up to create a flower. Thread the crystal-embellished wire through center of both flowers.
Step 4: Attach feather to back of flower with glue. Wrap green floral tape around bottom of feather and wire crystal cluster.
Baseball Boutonniere or Corsage
Supplies:
- Baseball
- Green floral tape
- Flowers
- Ribbon
- Pin or bracelet (depending if you're making a boutonniere or corsage)
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun

How to:
Step 1: Cut baseball and slide ball out.
Step 2: Trim baseball along threading.
Step 3: Trim flower stems to 2 inches long. Arrange flowers, baseball trim, and ribbon together.
Step 4: Wrap green floral tape around ends to secure all together. Add pin for boutonniere, or glue to bracelet to turn it into a corsage.
